

Our Office was represented by Mr. Milan Mijovic at the 26th UN/IAF Workshop on Space Technology for Socio-Economic Benefits: “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure for Development” which took place in Bremen, Germany in conjunction with 69th International Astronautical Congress. These events gathered more than 6.200 delegates from different countries: young professionals, representatives of industry, academia, governments and space agencies. The Workshop discussed space science, technologies and applications in support of economic, social and environmental development with a focus on the role of industries as key player to offer innovation and infrastructure needed for sustainable development.
Mr. Milan Mijovic, President and the Founder of Serbian Office for Space Sciences, Research and Development (SERBSPACE) visited CIIT to deliver a talk on International Laws of Space and their significance in attaining UN’s SDGs on February 28th 2018.
Serbian office for Space sciences, research and development presented a joint project developed in cooperation with Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Republic Water Directorate at the United Nations conference in Islamabad, Pakistan from 26th February to 3rd March.
Invited by the UN to participate at the UN/Russian federation workshop in Samara, Russia in November 2017, SERBSPACE’s president Milan Mijovic gave a presentation entitled: REGIONAL COOPERATION IN WESTERN BALKANS – A JOINT APPROACH TO SPACE SECTOR? Although firstly being limited to Balkans, presentation proposed ideas on the importance of cooperation among emerging countries, which could lead to one joint organization consisting of emerging and developing countries.
